Project Title: Statistical Analysis of Country Indicators Through Graphing

Enduring Understandings:

Change – Students will understand that change includes environmental, political, social, religious and economic transformations

Interdependence – Students will understand that decisions or actions can have an impact on other people or nations

Identity – Students will understand how people define themselves and their place in the world as well as how they are defined by others

Essential Questions: 1. How does your country compare with the Philippines?

2. What are statistical indicators and how are they used?

3. How do your country’s birth and death rates compare with the current world averages?

Grading: The earned score will be a part of the final Expo grade for the group, but not affect individual math class scores.
