EXPO 2008 – Human Rights Blog and Country Pavilion Pamphlet

Enduring Understandings:

Change – Students will understand that change includes environmental, political, social, religious and economic transformations

Identity – Students will understand how people define themselves and their place in the world as well as how they are defined by others

3.   How would you change your EXPO country if you were running the country?

Pavilion

How can you educate the people visiting your EXPO pavilion?

What effective advertising methods can be used to convey your information in a pamphlet?

*Shows use of valuable, pertinent information with respect to human rights issues within their nations. 

*Uses at least 5 sources that are reliable and current.

*Interviews 3 knowledgeable individuals from a variety of backgrounds and expertise.

• displays a highly accurate understanding of human rights

• answers and terms are explained in great detail

*summarizes the responses of interviewees to a high level of comprehension

 

• supporting details are rich, interesting and full

• details are relevant and appropriate for the audience and focus

• Sentence variety enhances style and effect

PAVILION:

Your pavilion will be assessed using the following criteria:

                                    pavilion.
